I need a wind fix! The ski resorts are getting their snow, why aren't we getting our clearing winds? |

|

There was a gnarly front wind at LA Harbor. Tried to get out at Cabrillo but I & fellow wind whores cound not get through the direct on shore wind & swell. Inside the harbor I was hauling ass on a way downhauled 5.3 & 85L board. There was some tasty swell at the mouth of the harbor along with a wind hole near angels gate light. I did hear a small craft as well as thunder storm advisory on my way home. We experianced some moderate squals, but fortunately no lightning. The wind & cold water made the hands ache a bit but the ride was very good. Enjoy my fellow windsluts. My wife is leaving for Mammoth & I must stay behind, nose to the grind stone. this front wind is a little gimme from god, enjoy... |

Hey Cape! Just got back from a quick week in Florida and they actually get wind this time of year. Only one problem if you want to sail Merritt Island/ Banana River up by the Cape Canaveral area.... ALLIGATORS!!! They're everywhere, YIKES! That's why my FLA. sailing buddy Gator Dave is in Austria skiing and saves his W/S for Maui. Mammoth is rockin', and Leo time is only a couple of months away...COURAGE, BULL |
