Does anyone know where to get good ocean waves along the Delmarva coast? Is there a way to get to the south side of the Ocean City inlet to catch some waves?

NE wind along Delaware coast:

Oceanside:

Try Southside of Indian River Inlet in Delaware Seashore State Park. Jetty cleans up the nasty wave action. Catch it on tide change for cleaner 'wave', and watch the current of the Inlet. It can sweep you to the bayside if you get close to the rocks.

Lewes Bay to the left of the Cape May Ferry. Its town of Lewes parking. Swell more than waves, but out past the jetty for the ferry is the Atlantic and some shoals that can set up a wave. Take a look in Cape Henlopen on the oceanside or Gordon Pond State Park at the very south end of Cape Henlopen.

Those are the best spots in Delaware oceanside, otherwise the wave period is pretty messy.

Holts Landing State Park is about 4 miles inland Bethany Beach and from Indian River Inlet on RT 26. On a strong NE or E wind and waves funnel up the bay, and with current going out you can get mini Gorge effect for some nice bump and jump. Not many folks go here since ersion control project made it harder to get in and out. Nice out on the water with 35+ NE.

Enjoy!
