...NWS, Sunday: Mostly cloudy, with a high near 59. Breezy, with a south southeast wind between 20 and 29 mph, with gusts as high as 36 mph.
All I want for the holidays is to get my fix, it's been sooooo long...

Oh hell yeah!!!! Can't wait for Sunday!!!
Shit, should have gone to HMB w/ you guys... I was actually thinking about the Jetty today... wondering if you can sail there. Usually when it blows NW, it's pretty straight offshore, right? Or is it side-off? Or were you guys sailing a little farther down the beach?

What's the best launch for this type of wind? HMB or Berkley? Will Berkeley get decent swell? |

I would think you would be better off at Alameda. With SE wind that will be a really long fetch for the waves.

today's NWS forecast:
POINT REYES TO PIGEON POINT TO 20 NM- 900 AM PST SAT DEC 1 2007 SUN...S WINDS 20 TO 30 KT. WIND WAVES 4 TO 6 FT. MIXED SWELL W 4 TO 6 FT AT 12 SECONDS AND S 3 TO 6 FT AT 8 SECONDS.
Sounds a little more "human" to me, but that still can be overpowered 4.1 at mav's cove!
Kev, we can talk off-line about where Rich and I sailed the other day. It was not W...
