I'm reading on the Starboard SUP website that "Most AST Electric Blue boards have deck track for windsurfing". Are there any other Starboard windsurfable SUP boards other than the these and the specific WINDSUP models? I'd like to get an inflatable Converse but it isn't entirely clear if there is a deck track on it.

Also, is the "Crossover Air" the only windsurfable Naish SUP board?

I'm also looking at the Exocet Windsup 10'2 but the weight of the AST model has me a little worried (13.9 kg).

Thanks!

Is there some specific reason (such as local dealer stock) to limit your choices to those to brands? There are many more out there.

It does indeed have to do with a local dealer and what manufacturers they can order from.

I may be able to order a Sealion from another place but I am not sure at what cost. I can get a decent deal on the Starboard Converse 9'0 and I am leaning towards that at the moment.

Where are you sailing? Ocean waves/Pacific coast or East coast?

Wave sailing on east coast of Canada in mostly side and side-onshore conditions.

Don't listen to ISO, buy from your local shop & help it stay alive!

I own a Naish Nalu that is windsurfable. It works well! I also sail a Fanatic All-Wave SUP. Like Spennie I would recommend you work with your local shop. Aside from supporting the sport in your area, it's easier to get repairs, tips, local knowledge etc. Those will be at least as valuable to you as getting the exact model board you think you want, IMHO.

Where did I even remotely suggest ANYTHING else?
Or that he consider a SeaLion? (There are HOW MANY brands out there?)
