Maybe real men don't, but homos or mama's boys types do.

Remember that french or german dude (he's a summer-only sailor) who snaked our esteemed hard core year round wave sailor collegue, during a recent south swell event, and claimed it was to "get even" for a similar move 2 years ago?

NP - maybe you're right. Perhaps the "mama's boys" or "homos" can weigh in.

Re that story, the victim told me about that recently on the stairs. I'm sure it was the same incident. Sounded like it escalated pretty quickly. Crazy story. Don't know who the sailor is though.

Not sure why any sailor would hold a grudge past the session it happened.
More like a hockey player mentality, when they break out into a fight the first game of the season for an incident that happened last season. Stupid crap.

I've learned that people are going to get cut off on waves, we're all going to do it, not entirely intentional. No one is perfect and you get caught up in the action. It's a dynamic situation. I try to apologize if I'm at fault and brush it off if I'm the victim and/or chat with the sailor afterwards if they are around without getting too whipped up. I guess if the same dude keeps cutting you off, then it becomes more of an issue. We've had some interesting incidents over the years and some long standing grudges.

BTW - you just jogged my memory. 3 years ago on May 5th around 5pm, you carried your rig by my sail on the stairs and I ended up with a piece of wet sand on my sail and ..... Rolling Eyes

NP - Sorry I couldn't reply sooner. My mother wouldn't let me back on the forum until we finished her TV show.
Holy cow. I like your ending better. Maybe I should go to the urologist and get me some of those blue pills like JP Embarassed
JP - I forgot to mention that I think you can save some money by getting those from Canada. Let me know. Maybe we'll put in a group buy Laughing

Keep your eye on Wed for wind. NOAA is predicting W10-20 with a building West swell. Could be fun if it happens.

Aloha

Thankfully I don't need pills for THAT just yet. Cool Just a routine check for the big "C". You'll find out soon enough.

Nothing quite like getting fondled, poked, and prodded without benefit of dinner and drinks eh Nealpar? Laughing Surprised
