Saturday afternoon had real nice flat water sailing. I rigged a 7.1 and used my new 130L freeride board which worked perfectly for the conditions. There were only 3 of us "kooks" out. A kiter came zooming thru but kept on going downwind, he probably had dinner at Dukes. |

7.1? 130 liters?
Now I KNOW we aren't in the same sport. But hey, if you "got off" (sorry DaBull, just can't seem to keep it PG13), then it's all good! |

I think you forgot an adjective between the words "real" and "men".
All right, enough fun. Back to my Opposition to Demurrer of Defendants to Complaint. |

Hi jtsb,
On Friday I was heading south to PV for my 40th year HS reunion, but I couldn't refuse an outrageous full tilt session at C Street. I sailed nicely powered on my 4.2 and a little 7'10" OO. Not often that we get such a strong clearing wind without the nasty brown runoff. An extra special treat. You know that Glenn Dubock was shooting pics?
I'm glad somebody else here on this thread ended up snagging such a great C Street session. I bet you're glad you bailed IV in favor of C Street. IV just isn't as interesting without a decent swell. I usually find it's much better to sail Bacara when there is no real swell. If you haven't sailed there, you might want to give it a go. It's only west a mile or two, and it lacks the dense kelp beds of IV.
If I recollect correctly, weren't you sailing with friend on the trip? I was old guy parked next to Eddy in the white Chevy van. Next time I see you guys, we'll have to share a beer or two, especially if the day was as fun as Friday. |

Does anybody (or is it just women) NOTICE that men turn everything into a PISSING CONTEST?
How tiring it must be to always try to "one up" the other. No wonder men have a shorter lifespan. |
