I was told that the Berkeley Boardsports shop has gone out of business. If this is indeed true, that is sad. Ben, Eric and the boys were very cool.
Boardsports School is a totally separate business -- they have their shop & school in Alameda and now the new one at Coyote Point. Add in KiteWindSurf in Alameda, Helm in San Mateo, and Delta Windsurf Company -- and I guess those are the 5 windsurfing shops (with regular business hours) in the Bay Area. 2 in San Mateo, 2 in Alameda, 1 on Sherman Island. Not bad, I guess.
I'm sure we all wish the Berkeley Boardsports guys good luck in their next endeavors. |

We are now carrying windsurfing and kiteboarding supplies here in San Francisco itself. So if you need a boom, universal, mast, harness lines, harnesses etc, just call us and we can help you out in the city as well as Alameda and San Mateo.
We encourage everyone to support your local shop whether it is ours or another. In addition to great service, you may be surprised to find prices just as, if not more competitive than on-line retailers.
See you on the water,
-Rebecca & Jane
