LABOR DAY WEEKEND AT LEO

labor day was great. the waves were great and so was the crowd. people were complaining that it was too crowded but when you are kiting you go off the beach at zeros and tact up to staircase, heavens, kite beach and the slot but it seeed to be the BEST at the rock pile where everyone crashes their kites in the rocks.
there has been wind for 47 days, stopped wednesday and thursday and friday it came back. i have logged 141 hours of kiting, that is some serious jumping, slashing, kiteloops, forwards and a lot of wave riding.

we have also had some swells for about three weeks. the wind and waves should hit and miss until october and then we look for LOBSTERS.
the yellows flags will be up until next weekend. if you see a flag that means stay off the beach and away from people or you will get a ticket and you will see the judge in ventura. if you do crash your kite and you are heading
towards people or yellow flags you better deflat your kite in the water and roll up your lines before you come to the beach. keep it safe and have a good time. george
