Had a great time at Ned's point from about 2:00 until 4:45. Sailed a 5.0 and a 93L board. I weigh about 165lbs. Nice swells past the windshadow (way out). Broke my harness lines on the way in, sailed upwind to land and fixed them. That part sucked, but other than that had a great time.

This Friday and Saturday look good...

I wonder what kind of "pro" would put a 6.5 on a 110l board. A "pro" from a hot-dog eating contest? By the time it's windy enough for pro racers to use a 6.5, they are on 90L or so, at least from what I've seen.

Very Happy Monday...out of Ned's Point....
Saw a lot of the locals busting out their small stuff.
I've been a regular since the mid 80's and have to
say that Labor Day was a rare one. Fun but tough.

Large swells (past the green bell buoy)
Hell chop Twisted Evil (inside and out, until the tide turned)
Good ramps (lot's of air to be had)
Steady winds (5.5 Nitro 5/Carbon Art 98 ltrs)
Many new faces (several under 30... Shocked )
Very bumpy Speed runs inside Mattapoisett neck (36.7 max)
Great weather/ warm water!!! Cool

I had tickets to see Tiger/Phil... at the TPC of Boston.
No contest!

Dean

Great post npiankov! I haven't seen too many pros on a 6.5, 110 liter board. Actually, sounds like a beginner set up to me - but wind.bob insists he "rides what the pros ride", so maybe we're wrong, but I doubt it.

Why don't you ask him Wind Bob, I mean Wind Man, I mean wtf ?

Did you notice how Brucie typed in wind.bob ? You aren't very thorough Snowy Guy. You'll have to do better than that for us to believe your tricks.

This is like going back to high school. Can we have more photos and stories and less childish bullshit bickering PLEASE? I love this site, but feel like anytime I go into forums these catfights spring up nearly every time. How old are you people to get into this? Who cares if one attempts to ride like the pros? This is not Hookipa here, it's the Cape. There are no double overheads, there's just Chatham and Wellfleet. There are no telephoto cameras regularly popping up on the beach and Johnny DeCesare is not filming here. Neil Pryde doesn't have a mega store here. But what we do have are great beaches, Inland Sea, West Dennis and a good community out of which many support windsurfing with their heart and soul. We got a good vibe and don't have territorial surfer blokes crowding up the water. So enjoy it for what it is, and maybe we'll even have a Windfrenzy again next year.
