I have a 26 ft. RV and usually hang out at Sherman, someone told me that they dont let RVs into Crissy to park for day.

Anyone have info on size issues for RV parking there? Or know who I can contact that may have that info?

Also any info on RV parks near there, to stay overnight after a day in SF?

Thnks for input, Max.

I've seen pleanty of RVs 26 feet or longer parking at Crissy Field, although I think the limit is technically 22 feet (the length of my mini-RV). You should probably park on one of the grassy areas rather than in a conventional parking spot. If it is illegal, the most likely thing is you will be asked to leave. You can not camp overnight. I see RVs parked in front of the marina Safeway that have obviously been there all night. Also, there are RVs parked under the Doyle Drive on-ramp, right across the street from Crissy Field that obviously are there overnight. But a question you should consider is how safe is it to park on the street overnight?

There are some RV parks in the area, but none are that close to Crissy. See:

and
www.sanfranciscorvpark.com (at Candlestick Park)

There is a 12' vehicle length restriction posted at East Beach. Parking on weekends is tight. During the week mellower. Maneuvering anywhere in SF is very tight. Dont bring your bus here. You'll regret it.

Overnight camping (except in cars) is not allowed anywhere near crissy or the marina.

-if you still come-
I recommend parking it on fulton st. (between 30-34 aves) on the park side of the road and using a 2nd car to get around. 15mins from Crissy max.

The cops are more lenient to campers around the park. No camping in GGP, this is strictly enforced and has been since former mayor Brown implemented "Matrix" back in 95. Sprinklers placed in convienient locations for your 0230 shower.

I live in the Avenues on 30ths. To be honest, If I were driving that bus, I would avoid SF like the plague.
