Yes, it's been a good week for sea breezes. By the way, we have been having some trouble hereabouts (Mashpee/Falmouth) with the over-building that has been going on for the last two decades. The lakes, ponds, bays and inlets have become utrophic i.e. thick with nutrients. The algae blooms are worse this year than ever. They finally woke up to it in the town offices and realize they have to build a sewage system and treatment facility. 15 years ago Lake Coonamesett was clear as a bell, today it's green. How are things out in Orleans? Don't they have serious building restrictions? Do you have clear waters in the ponds? Except for the eel grass, Pleasant Bay seemed rather clean to me. I don't remember any mud on the bottom, either. Orleans was on the front page of the C.C. Times regarding the plovers, this morning. It seems there's more environmental consciousness on the outer cape. As I remember Nickerson State Park had rather clear kettle ponds, but I haven't been there in over 20 years.
