A new vendor at Coyote??? According to my sources-in-the-know, Jane and Rebecca of Boardsports School have taken over the former ASD digs at Coyote. It's a good thing!

Good luck and best wishes to the new kids on the block!

"former ASD" is a sad thing Sad

Jane and Rebecca is a good thing!

Let me dream:

Demo center
Working rental (open Fridays too!)
School
Kids Camps
Gear sales (I love buying a replacement of a broken universal and heading back into the fray!)

I wish them success.

So are they going to take over the shop? Hope so. I'll definitely stop by and spend some money.

Today (Friday, Aug 3) was move-in day. They may be open for business by next weekend.

You're right. It's good news for all concerned!

What happened to John and the ASD guys? I never did see the store right in Coyote, not having been there in years...maybe that was the problem...

It's great to hear that this shop will open again! One of the problems I think John had was getting customers to the store.

As some of you know there is a park entrance fee of $5 (when the ranger is present) to get to the store. The fee was refunded if you exited the park within 15 minutes (if the ranger was present). Longer than than that (or no ranger present to give a refund) and you were out $5. There is one ranger that is VERY strict on this policy. This was not a very good way to attract customers.

Does anyone know if this issue has been solved or even discussed?

mahalo,

JackO
