Huh???
ASD was not a NeilPryde dealer. What $1000 sail are you talking about?

I'm not talking about Formula gear. That's way over $1000.
NP sells their sails for ~700 euros (little shy of $1000) in Europe. And the shops are dying there as well. I'm talking about the general trend. When NP sells stuff for that kind of price, with that quality, go figure. And masts, booms are now approaching the same mark. Just for a wave rig.
ASD was selling quality stuff. The sails I got from them are still in one piece after 3 hard seasons.

I will contact iwinsurf. They can mount a cam or sensor on top of my facility, should help out.

Thanks Ed,
Those like my self who can't see those palm trees out your window really appreciate a Coyote sensor, especially at todays gas prices .
Today 6/26/07 is a perfect example, the SFO and 3rd channel sensors
are reading 20, but the Coyote sensor looks dismal. The kind sole who sent the 3rd channel "on-site report" helped alot too. Not all of us have the luxury of sitting in their van at Coyote (like Mark) and waiting for the wind to come up. BTW Mark what is your cell phone number?? |

Wow that sucks about ASD. Has anyone talked to John? Is he selling off remaining inventory? Their website is down also. |

I saw John yesterday and yes the website is down.
He isn't selling right now.
I'll update when he tells me what will happen.
Biggest problem for renting was getting insurance, not a shock in California.
If the wind line goes down I will rig some sort of sensor up so nobody misses any good days! |

Thanks for the update. Really sucks that all the windsurf shops in the bay area are closing. I installed the webcam for those guys a few years back and I don't think business was doing that good back then. This is a real loss to the windsurfing community those guys have been around for a long time. |
