Broadreach,

How the hell did you hold on? I was staring at 6 foot swells all day. I would have been shore lunch for the crabs if I were on a 6.5. Impressive!

"Round Hill."

Colonel Green's. I heard they want to make it a national monument. MIT did lots of radar research there during WWII. Now the dish points straight up.

Regarding broadreach.... "How the hell did you hold on? I was staring at 6 foot swells all day."

Brucie sails in Waquoit Bay, which is very, very sheltered. Or, quite possibly, he made up his story, as he makes so much else that he posts.

I sail off of Bay View when the wind is right.
If there's wind and waves at Horseneck, I'm there. Had beautiful waves last Wednesday...

I was using a slow board for starters and sailing a bay like Ninigret. There's no swell. I used to sail the sound regularly, but it just becomes too choppy. You guys get much better wave action. At 235 lbs, though, I can hold onto bigger sails than most windsurfers do, often a meter and a half bigger. I'm also pressing my limits in those situations. Gybing takes too much energy. I can blast shore to shore. If you want to sail the Cape regularly, i.e. three days a week, you must get into light wind, big sail windsurfing. This builds up your upper body strength. Eventually blasting in the straps becomes tedius, so I'll rig smaller and work on my gybes. However, Saturday I bought a new board which will increase my speed with the Gun but still hold the chop (I hope).

Funny, if you think a rather sick identity thief, conspiracy theorist and stalker should be allowed to post on your site.

I find that I'm skipping over posts that I think may have been written by this guy. I don't really want to be part of his joke. It's too bad. Otherwise, it's a very nice forum.

I should rephrase. The timing of the post was funny because this person has been going off on windsurfing.rec.

I try to avoid commenting in his posts.
