A local WA guys website shows various puget sound sailing spots... google crazyboardheads windpage for site.
Also check out the NW-WINDTALK yahoo group message posts where they discuss various local puget sound sites+condns. Wave condns here more limited compared to OR coast, but can be found in the right conditions at west beach whidbey isl, and at westport. More common to sail Puget Sound sites during winter storms with small gear and large swells. Marrowstone + oak bay, kayak pt, richmond beach, golden gardens, sand point, 3-tree point plus others I havnt been to are popular, with different sites better in certain wind/frontal conditions. Much less wind rest of the year though can sail larger gear on northerlies locally in SEA.
I tend to spend wknds in the gorge during summer season as the SEA winds get too lite except for big kites and sometimes formula gear. |

The best spot is about 3 hours South and 1 hour East - its called the Gorge (note the sarcasm in my voice). Seriously though, most Seattle people will come down just about every weekend in the summer. If its not good for B&J in the Gorge, the OR coast should be blowing. There isnt much wind in Puget Sound in the Summer. |
