Nice to see the Gorge living up to its billing. The snow has been unbelievable; been skiing/boarding since the first of November. Windsurfing? Whats that??? Makes it easier to deal with a shortened windsurfing season with little fall wind when the snow starts flying at the end of October!

I assume you got to enjoy the blue skies and cold, light powder today also. Id say that theres more snow up there now than they ever had last winter. Lets hope it keeps up and heather canyon opens soon.

Had the BEST T-Day ever... sailed my 4.2 completely dialed shore-to-shore at Stevenson. Also sailed the 4.2 Monday way OPed (especially on the wicked Oregon side) until the snow began to fly about 2 PM. I can honestly say, it was a real blast!! Snowing here at 1,000 ft. right now with lotsa pow.... looks like a great day for some Gorge XC.

Missed it. (Had to work.) Glad you got it.

But, I did get 14 inches of fresh last Saturday with 4 more inches falling while skiing that morning. Awesome.

And, my first day out was a similar day November 5th, before the lifts opened... skinning up and earning those turns. Sweet.
