I was at Lakes Bay: NW 20-28, gusting up to 40 (sometimes more). 5.2 + freewave 95. Good day! _________________ Andrew

Similar conditions at Lavallette. Myself and one other sailor were out in the morning. A couple kiters were also there. Plenty of wind (although a little up and down). Air temps were pretty reasonable although the water was a bit “brisk.” Definitely a nice new year’s treat.

Looking like another potential day tomorrow, Sunday Jan 6th. Forecast NW 15-20 gusting 30 and moderate air temps. If forecast holds, I will likely go to Lavallette if anyone wishes to join.

Forecast good for tomorrow. Debating where to go: Lakes Bay or LBI. Hmmm... _________________ Andrew

Options: brigantine, barnegat, holgate.. Maybe Seaside..
If no responses, i'll probbly end up on LBI, south of Barnegat Light on the sandbars.
PM to filsfin [at] yahoo if interestd. |

Nice session yesterday at Lavallette bayside to kick-off the new year. There was a handful of sailors out (surprisingly no kiters). Wind W/NW 20-30 with higher gusts, air temp in the low 40’s (about my limit for hand comfort).
Great to be back on the water and hoping some other sailors made it out.

Yes fun session at Lavallette yesterday. Good to see some sailors out. I was the guy who launched just across the lot from you. The dredge barge made for an interesting hurtle to sail around - especially on the way back in. Hoping temps will stay mild thru the winter for more sailing.
