Hey BARD.. since your so enviousofChinese style Capitalism explain the following: Censured internet, no patents, mass pirating of Western products as well as Japanese, and pegging the currency in a band with the US dollar , the currency of your #1 export destination which is effectively a GOVt subsidy of the economy. Bottom line, its NOT Capitalism in any way, shape, or form, but the good news is they need us more than we need them. They are not dumping treasuries, and there is nobody as desperate and materialistic on Earth as AMericans are for their daily Walmart fix.

He can't correctly quote Hillary.
He can't stop quoting oil companies on global warming. |
Key words: "As far as I know". I wrote my first computer program in 1961; it compiled and ran as intended on the first try, and I've written thousands of lines of code in several languages since then. I'm an absolute piker by comparison to many high school kids these days, and there are probably millions of programs in hundreds of languages out there. It's just zeros and ones, CB, not voodoo. "There are forums [allowing killfiles]", you say? How about hundreds of thousands of them?
Watch her lips move, then tell us what her statement meant besides, "you lie".
My GW comments, as I have said, are based on hundreds of scientific references based on many scores of independent research programs ranging from the solar system to mountain tops to ocean bottoms to millennia of handwrtten records, from millions of years ago through last week, and from scientists and ambassadors from dozens of nations convened just to discuss GW. Your sources are what ... a left-wing newspaper, a politician making many millions of dollars off GW alarmism, and a couple of dudes from California? The earth is not flat, and the senate voted 99 to 0 against the Kyoto Protocol for a good reason.
I gotta say it: Homework first, THEN mouth.

Iso--I'll take that as your admission that there is in fact no option on this forum to block posts by any specific user.
Don't you think that people are smart enough to see, when you write paragraphs and paragraphs to refute one or two sentences, that you know that you got nailed and are just refusing to admit it?
Brevity is the soul of wit. Also truth.

Brevity also leads to rations of, "Well, you left this out, or misstated that, or what about this?" I've been doing this for a while, CB, and ain't seen much new behavior in quite a while now. Brevity also takes time, and if you read my posts, you'll see that I never said or implied there is any option provided on this forum to block posts by any specific user.
Guess my posts on that topic were too brief.

"Guess my posts on that topic were too brief."
Seriously, isobars' ongoing rants being too brief?
What a joke! Is this guy for real? This devil is seemingly so endlessl drunk on his own thought, that he doesn't realize that virtually all see through his simple arguments.
What a dog! This crude tool is always barking endlessly at the moon.
But, one must simply ask, why does he continue with his goofiness?

Because he's a celebrity among wind wankers. I'm sure he catches this kind of shit wherever he goes. And he loves it. I'm sure if you could find dirt bike (or whatever) forums he's been in, you would find the results have been the same.

I voted for Obama and fully support him as commander and chief for the next four years. With that said, I think this parody is pretty darn funny. Too bad there isn't a sound track to go with it.

Jeepers, this thread still going? Anyone notice the wind is blowing today?
More for ya - Gary Shilling's latest INSIGHT newsletter, via John Mauldin's Outside the Box email:
This reaction to big bonuses in firms that are taking huge writeoffs, losing big money and requiring massive government bailouts was predictable. From 2002 to 2008, the five largest Wall Street firms paid $190 billion in bonuses while earning $76 billion in profits. Last year, they had a combined net loss of $25 billion but paid bonuses of $26 billion.
The rest of the newsletter was too depressing to repeat here.
Does teasing the inmates count as being a troll?
