There were a total of 6 of us out at Stevenson on Saturday. Super windy. Corbet was reading gusts into the 70's. I think the iWindsurf meter for Stevenson was only in the 50's, but it sure seemed like it was a lot windier than that, especially on the other side.

Kind of humbling for me. I windsurfed 2 times in November, but haven't really windsurfed at all since March 2000. I'm feeling a little rusty. Sure was fun, though!

Hi George!

Here's some video from Rooster on Saturday (From Temira's site):

Photos and video never come close to showing the true insanity of a high wind day. Don't know why, but it never looks as extreme as when you're there in person. Stevenson was almost as crazy as Rooster on the Oregon side of the river. It was very northerly and gusty on the Washington side, though.

With some luck, maybe I'll catch a big west wind day with you this summer. Sure would be fun.

Warm west wind sounds better to me!

Those swells in Barry's video look pretty big for east wind.
