Surf is up.
The water is the warmest I have felt all year.
The water is clear.
Plenty of bait
Seal jumping
Many dolphins, young and old, jumping.
Pelicans diving.
Birds everywhere.
Sun exposure will burn you.
Wind less than 10knots

Wind came from the canyon early in the morning,
then shifted from the W to the SW.

Gas is expensive
I kill fish to offset my grocery bill.

Well, the fish report is unnecessary. But the water clarity and the temperature my be helpful to some. And even if you do not need any of that, you can still look at the nice picture of the ocean and enjoy the view, or at least wish you were there.

Question: Do you ever get caught in a school of dolphins? There was just schools and schools of them today.

Potto is right about the water temp. It's like it normally is in the late Summer, not the beginning. Gorgeous color to the water too up there at County. As far as the human bodies in the water, well, it's like a modern day beginning to the New Summer of Love out there. Can't you just feel the love brothers and sisters? Wink

All the time! I didn't see any today, but the water was beautiful. Great high tide at leo made it even better.

You need to learn how to sail!

That is a very good possibility. It is so close to home, it would be a shame I did not.

The thing about the kayaker that bothers me, is the fact he jumped out in 2 feet of water to avoid the wave. He could have landed on a rock and twisted an ankle or landed on top of a ray. It would have been best to ride it till the very end. I hope you windsurfers do not have that problem.

Yes we do, otherwise the fin hits a big rock and the board stops suddenly while the body continues it's forward motion. Been there done it.
