I recently found the Open Ocean sailboards website.
they look pretty cool. I emailed them, no reply.
Does anyone know if they are still in business?

As far as I know, Brian is still in business. You might have better luck calling him and leaving a message. He is one of two custom board builders still operating in the Gorge. The other is Cascade. I have a 2000 OpenOcean 70L polyester wave board that I use when its really blowing (4.2m down to 3.2m conditions).

I did get an email reply from Brian. He said to call him to discuss a board. |

He's still crankin' them out. "Jim" just got his latest OO a couple of weeks ago. Or you can get them at Gorge swap meets for around $500 - $600.

Or Cascade is licensed to produce Gorge Animal Bonzers that easily handle 2.8 to 5.2. They made my last two Bonzers.
