|
|
I have an older Hi Tech Blaster. I want to start sailing it again on those certain days when I feel the need for speed. Bought a new fin for it and was surprise to see a bump at the top of the fin. The manufacturer, MFC said this is how all "A" fins are made now. "If you have an older board just cut it off." Anyone have any great techniques to go about doing this? Hack saw, grinder?
Thanks |

I have had new fins that come with new boards bought brand new that don't fit
One Drops Bomber with a power box . One Exocet Wave with and A box.
One Costco pop out surfboard with and A Box as well as aftermarket fins in A boxes. It looks like the manufacturer's of boards would check to see if the fins fit but apparently they don't. Sand carefully so you don't take to much off. |

I use your site, actually too much, it is extremely helpful, I think I should purchase a controlling interest in West Systems. _________________ K4 fins
