I hear someone wants to build a large building upwind from Candlestick.
If so the South SF planning commission definatly needs
our input on this and a new environmental impact study requested.
(remember the Coyote Pt building that was stopped about 1999?).

Anybody hear about this new building plan????

there was an SFBA meeting last week, and someone mentioned a proposed development. As of now, the SFBA site doesn't really have a lot of content, but there are site stewards for Candlestick that you can submit questions to:

http://sfba.org/steward_site.php?site=11

Also, you can checkt the SFBA page or start a new forum topic on the SFBA group page on Facebook:

I don't have details, but I do understand that the Candlestick developer is having to pay for wind tunnel tests.

Defeating that Burlingame buildings project did serve us in more ways than one. Although I have heard that the developer wanting to build at the drive-in theater "is back". If anyone gets a chance to visit the Burlingame Planning Dept. and ask them about the current status, let us know. I assume they'll try for shorter buildings this time, but who knows? Perhaps there's a public comment period some time this year?
