To all you cape sailors

I'm spending April on the cape down in Woods Hole, what sails do you boys use the most?

In April you can get almost anything on the Cape. 6.2 and 5.2 are probably my most used sails then, followed by 6.8 and 4.2. I might even use my 3.5 if we get a big storm. There are sure to be some light wind days/ big sails. My biggest is 6.8 but there will be lots of days when it takes a much bigger sail to plane, if you're into that.

How big are you? Do you really think that all people use the same size in the same conditions? As Scooper stated, though, you can have some of the widest variations in wind speeds during April on the Cape. It doesn't nuke quite like late October or November, but it can blow. Last spring we had an unusual number of N.E. winds, but S.W. is the norm.

Sorry I didn't clarify... 6ft and 180 pounds, pretty standard.

To press the topic even further, what sized boards? How would a 120 liter board coupled with a 5.0 (or 5.3) and a 6.5 fair? At least 80% of windy days sail able? That last 20% would be nukin sub 5.0 conditions that I may tempted to just rent a low liter board and small sail for.

Last spring wasn't as windy as it has been in the past. 120 liter can be a good compromise, but at times it may be too big. Last year it would have been great.
