Good wind is forecast down here in New Jesey as well with temps around 25. I've heard people sail these temps fairly often; I've sailed 32 degree days and it wasn't too bad. You have to stop often to warm the hands. With good sun it may not be that bad as long as there are shallows where you sail to stop and warm the hands without having to sail back to shore. I may go for it down here during low tide in a fairly protected bay.
Hope the weather warms soon! |

The Iwindsurf wind tables for saturday have gone up. Chatham looks best (as if they know) with a forecast for 20 SW or W in the afternoon, temps mid to upper 30's.I may try Hardings if it still looks promising tomorrow, or wherever it looks windy .
We haven't had any weekend wind yet this year! _________________ http://waterloggedbyscooper.blogspot.com/ |

Steve, let me know where you go.
I definitely will go.. but Chatham is too far.. but .. yes.. is the best spot for now and I might go.
Is this the right address.
Take Route 6 to 137 south. From 137, turn left onto 28 south (although you are actually heading east). Go about 2 miles, turn right onto Barn Hill Road and follow to the end ????
Alan, you will back from Bonaire and than we'll talk... |

The directions sound about right. Take Hardings Beach Rd off Barn Hill, then follow to end. Then hope for wind! _________________ http://waterloggedbyscooper.blogspot.com/ |

I ended up at Pt Judith/Deep Hole. Great session, the wind was a little up and down but the waves were nice, perfect sideshore wind direction with a left over swell coming in sets. _________________ http://waterloggedbyscooper.blogspot.com/ |
