I've had many surgeries and countless motorsport injuries and have passed a kidney stone (supposedly the classic 10 on the pain scale), but the most painful experiences in my life have been thawing my hands after windsurfing. My hands stay much warmer at 25 below zero on a dirt bike than they do windsurfing in water or air at 45 F (with the exception of heated Morgan Lake).
No mas, and best of luck to those with better luck and tougher hands than mine.

I can't pretend that I've figured out cold weather sailing, well, because I haven't. But, I've found that if I come in after a couple of runs & get the hands re-warmed before they are truly frozen, then it generally works out. If I wait too long and the hands are really cold then I can be near tears (I really try not to) during the thaw process. |

Nice smooth ride eh? What did you do to get the shock and fork to move at those temps. I would think the frame would snap in half if you came down hard. I don't need a reply since it's a OT hijack.

Not at all. My point is that water sports are far more chilling than dry sports, and people might consider drier alternatives in the winter.
