wadell/dport wave sailing in Jan/Feb???

What is the wave sailing like in Jan or Feb along he central coast.?

check out: http://www.pappasrock.com/DIARY.html to get an idea how jan-febr were like this year at the coast. Of course it can change from year to year, and last year was certainly above average according to those in the know, but hopefully you get an idea from this.

Yeah, Jan and Feb 2007 were very good. I had 7 good sailing days in Jan and then 7 more in Feb. Waves ranging from logo to mast on the big days and head-high on the smaller. Pretty cold, though, most days. Water temp was OK, but the cold air temps numbed the hands after 60-90 minutes on the colder days.

Hit or miss in Jan.

Had some good days at Waddell & on the North Coast. Maybe 5 days a month.

Have sailed SF OB on south wind as well.

Just make sure you give epenrose a lot of room to jibe. He is a big guy with very limited and crude sailing skills.
