I'm headed to Margarita in March and was trying to use Vela but their equip rates are $47 a day and you have to book consecutive days. Even in Maui you can get $35 a day rents...
Is there options for rentals once I get down there?
Thanks, Max.
PS any one else headed down there week of March 8? |

I was down there last year and there were numerous rental outfits, including smaller (and I assume cheaper) operations than Vela. I'm sure it would work fine to just show up and ask around for the best deals.
Venezuela is an "interesting" country these days, so be careful. |

Hey vims,
thanks for advice, Venezuela interesting indeed. I need to use Vela just for the "cheer and greet". Afraid of the Caracas situation. Including having to stay over 1 night.
Once in Margarita it should be ok.
Max.
PS last time I herd Venezuela was not on the Euro. |
