The sensor was down for a bit yesterday and appears to be showing wind direction incorrectly. |

Thanks to MK I had a great afternoon at county. No thanks to the sensor. It's hard to get outside the kelp but there is one slot down wind. Good surf on the inside. The nws site reads low but the phone alerts from friends help. |

I also subscribe to CallFromMitch.com and have found the service to be quite reliable. |

Hey Mitch, how do you get your up to the minute wind info? If the sensor is unavailable or incorrect the rest of us are flying blind. Reminds me of the old days, before pagers and cell phones and the internet. |

Call me a newbie, but the nature and character of the winds in So. Cal. an around trips me, flips me, i dig it! I've been kiting small time (2m Slingshot) for a year or two, just got a 15m Link (w/ the new bridle) and wanna get on the water.
I know the wind is weaker these months; a guy in Long Beach wont give me a lesson til' April! D'ya think Leo Carillio will be up 'round 4p today? I'm dying to get in the h2o.
