Thanks to the wide blue line, and NOAA - the "two day discussion"
Should be better than my 5.0 can handle on Tuesday!
See ya there,

Thanks for the response. I sail the gorge in summer and am sitting in Maui last few days waiting for bigger winds.

Sounds like the NW push will really start after dark. Where can I buy some headlights to install on my mast?

NP - you're probably right. The Low pressure hasn't moved east as expected.
Seems to be parked at the moment. It's still overcast and misting in my area. Crap. We still have a decent shot for Tuesday and Wednesday.

I caught a sundowner yesterday. No one else was out.
A few small waves, but nothing stellar. Good wind on the outside, light on the inside.
The kelp is growing like crazy in the wave slot. Sad

See you out there tomorrow.

P.S. I think Mikekut is rubbing our nose in it, but I'll give him the benefit of the doubt here. Hmmm! Confused

Hey, I always do my "share of the chore" of keeping the slot open by purposely sailing over the edge of the kelp bed, hoping to slice off a few of the dangling pieces that, if left to grow, will form the permanent "gate". If the gate shuts, we'll be jibing every 10 seconds.

I have a 3ft weed fin that will do the job nicely....unless Nealpar objects to me cruising thru the slot on my slalom board.
