Can't take the full day off but I'm hoping to sneak out in the early afternoon and sail from Ideal Beach (I believe it's the same general area as the Spy House). I'm hoping to get there around 3:30.

rob, wasn't sure who you were, but i was there with the usual crowd. you were on the sail with the green trim? Little green suv? i didn't know that launch was called ideal beach. always called it the spy house. its all part of bayshore waterfront park. i was pretty shot by the time you got there. pretty good day , all in all. usual condition for the spy house. rainy and windy. never had too many sunny days there.

Hey Andy,

Yeah, that was me. Great sailing there yesterday. How come no one sails there on a west/northwest wind? The wind may be slightly less than at Sandy Hook but the swells and overall sailing conditions seem more fun. When it's WNW, I'll launch from the park further down (west) the road next to the marina so I don't sail into the boating lanes for the commuter ferry. Anyway, it was good to catch a N'East session at the spy house, hope to see you at the next one.
