FYI
Two of us launched after rigging from the most Southern paring lot.
We sailed about four miles out and stayed outside for a couple of hrs.
Landed mid beach. Lifeguard and ranger gave us crap that we couldn't windsurf from the swimming area.
Supposedly it gets in the way of swimmers, bunch of crap! |

Never really have seen many folks swimming at Stinson. Mostly waders and surfers. Epen, is this a summer season only policy? |

One of my friends and I sailed the north end of Stinson Beach about two months ago, near Bolinas. No problems with swimmers or lifeguards/rangers, just a bunch of surfers that didn't bother. |

I think this is an all year round policy, except that they don't enforce in the winter.
Whitey is always around, we made it 5 miles offshore. Saw a pod of dolphins and something else. |

6.2 Gaastra wave, 103 RRD wave, my friend, 93L and 5.5. Short slog to wind line then powered all the way.
Rolling wind swell to have fun on.
If you breakdown, kiss you ass goodbye.
Broke a mast at Dillon 2 yrs ago solo a 1 1/2 miles offshore, the worst 2 1/4 paddle to date, thought my number was up! |
