I'm not local and no expert on Lopez, but I know the level can get pretty low in drought years. The last time I was there (2004?) it was about 50%, and I thought the sailing was miserable. The normally solid ocean breeze swirls around the canyon when the water is low. I was thinking of going in September, but if it drops below 70% I'll probably skip it. BTW, your math skills are admirable. |
