Moved to Richmond five years ago from buffalo ny. I have sailed Gywinns Island several times and a couple other spots on the rappahanock. Youl'e hear more wind forcasts of 5-10 than you ever want to see. My son and I head for the OBX weekends when the wind is 15-30. pm me if want to talk about sailing etc. |

Winds are mostly driven by fronts and tropical systems later in the year. Therefore it's hit or miss... |
