I got out of the water yesterday and noticed the bottom of my board had delaminated. I'm not sure if "delaminated" is the right word because it's just the outer most layer. No fibers or anything have separated, it's just the clear layer on the outside. It's the back half of the board.

It's a 2000 RRD Cult Sixty wave board. Not sure of it's construction.

Is this possible to fix? Is it worth fixing? By that I mean, is it just going to happen again or is this the first of other problems?

I really like the board and it seems a shame for it to go in the trash when it's just a thin coating that's separated.

Anyway, if you can recommend a shop in or near San Francisco, I'd appreciate it.

Sorry Girsang

I'm a dealer for RRD The board you have is (was) a limited line of boards from RRD called a clear coat. The outer layer was a gloss clear coat that did not properly adhesive to the board. They were pretty out of the box but quickly delaminated. this left the board with no strength. I did have one guy peal the gloss clear coat off, But the board had no strength and could not be sailed in chop definitly would snap if jumped.
