This week has been fantastic at Leo Carillo and County Line. Wind and waves (yeah, first decent south swell of the season) on Wednesday at Leo Carillo (after work) followed by Thursday after work at County Line. Had work commitments till late on Friday, but the graph says it blew Friday too. Saturday nada, but today was great again at County Line. Last weekend in Central California was great too, sailed Arroyo Laguna on Easter Friday, taught my wife at Lake Lopez on Saturday and had a great session at Arroyo Laguna again on Sunday. That makes 6 out of the last 10 days. Pretty good for a salaryman!!! (though going up the coast for the easter weekend helped out) |

Yeah, it's been crazy, eh? I got out in the big swell at Cabrillo on Friday. It was a bit of a trick getting out past the shore pound without much wind on the inside, but once past the breakers it was just you vs. the 6-8 foot rollers. Yee-haw!! Pretty fun. |
