I am working with the San Mateo County Parks in an effort to install sandbag ramps over the damaged areas between the parking lot and the beach. We want to be able to bring a detailed proposal to the permitting agencies which means I would love to have some pictures of the sandbag ramps at Sherman Island to submit with the proposal since we plan on using the RVWA type sandbags. Please check your albums and forward me any good shots to thorner@sfba.org.
Becuase the sandbag ramps will need to be in use for the 2-3 years it will take for the promenade to be reconstructed, the bags need to be durable. RVWA's bags are very durable and last mutliple seasons, but they are not cheap. Once I learned that, I sent in my RVWA dues (rvwa.org) which I realized I have been overlooking for more than one season.
Thanks in advance for any help.
