Last weekend was too cold for me. I've got my eye on this weekend 50-60 degree weather.
I'd love to get my first Spring in RI session in.
With any luck, the wind will keep up, the dry suit zipper's been waxed.
I'm jonesing hardcore to go!!!!!

A bunch of us got on the water Sunday on the east end of LI, with air and water temps in the 30's. Check the Peconic Puffin Blog and my Flickr photo page for details.
Dry suits and gloves are a pain, but well worth it when the wind is blowing 20-30! |

I got out Sunday from 4:30-6:30 at Ninegret in R.I. I was surprised, and delighted, to find two other sailors on the water. It was great to have some company. One of the guys was throwing loops off of no chop in the gusty up and down winds. He made it look easy. It made me want to learn how to do them but I'm I'll probably just think about it. |

I went to Pleasure Bay Sunday. The wind was good but the St. Patrick's Day Parade brought in so many people there was almost no parking. No other sailers, a bit cold and overcast, I didn't feel inspired to go out alone.
I'll probably go to Kalmus tomorrow. 25 kts SW |

"...interferred with what a real man does for a living..."
No doubt sinbad, quickrig, broadreach, swiftsurfer, beachdoser, gaastrageezer, mistersmith, robswift, bighalsey, gaastraguy, seamanfirstclass, swiftsailor, prljack, tycoonguy, skimmer, oldsalt, skirtchaser, weedwart, bigwebsailor, and psychokiter were all trying to park their Buicks. |
