Long shot, but...Had to ditch my rig on Sunday at Bayville, NY. Lost a North Carbon 400 mast, North Zeta 3.5 (Red & White), Fiberspar carbon boom, Chinnook mast base. If anyone hears of a rig washing ashore in the LI Sound, let me know. Will happily compensate. |

Rigged too small, waffled around for 20 minutes waiting for wind to come back up...drifting ever closer to a seawall with big breaking waves thanks to wind with tide. Decided the equipment wasnt worth risking bodily harm and didnt think I had time to self rescue. First time in 20+ years...Should have known better. |

dude i grew up in bayville, how the hell did you manage that?? too funny.
do I know you, did you sail there alot over the years?
