Shoreline park for small lake learning conditions.
There is a south bay launch off the end of Embarcodaro near the Palo Alto airport. Real easy to find using Google maps - zoom in on the airport, then follow teh roads to the parking area and dock.
Note - Not many people sail there, and low tide it is a mud pit (knee to waist deep mud). I would only attempt this on high tide. I have had one good day out there, but generally sail 3rd as winds are better and less tidal issues. |

Melpel,
Leed is right, P.A. can crank on those days when the fog is shutting down 3rd ave. Alot of folks from 3rd and Coyote show up then too. The tide really needs to be 4ft+ though, youre dragging the fin in alot of spots below that. Look for sensor reading 19+. |
