What fin recommendation?

I recent picked up a Mistral 253 Concept Wave. I got it for a great price but, it did not come with a fin. I sail mainly in the Gorge in bump and jump conditions and swells. Looking for some advice on what size and style of fin I should be looking for. I know I need a powerbox style and have even found a couple here in the classifieds. Any advice would be great.

Dont know your size or sails used.
But basically, a 8.25 wave fin for slashing swell out East or a 25cm bump and jump more upright but swept fin for normal Gorge sailing with 4-5 meter sails.

Hey LeeD,

Im 195 and expect Ill be using 3.5-5 meter sails. Ill probably be more into the B&J until I get the board dialed in. Ive never really spent much time on a wave board so a lot of new stuff to learn. Thanks for the help.

At your size, maybe a 8.75 wave fin for the max winds you encounter, then a 27 bump and jump fin for normal 4.7 thru 5.3 sized sailing.
