Its pretty accurate. May read a little high
probably 2 or 3 mph.
Although sometimes in SW it seems right on.
Usually cant sail at dead low tide. Some nice ramps will build on an outgoing tide with a SW wind. Doesnt suffer from de coupling in a SW warm wind, as the cape often does in April. A fun spot in the spring and fall, wind dies out in the summer, though.

Yesterday, Tuesday, I went sailing in the p.m. at my usual spot. Since it was my first session in four months, I was not going to complain about the winds. They really didnt pick up until I had left the water, though. It was howling when I left the parking lot. By the way, if it stays dry, this spring should be great at Wacko Bay as the road isnt peppered with knee deep water in the pot holes. As to Ducks bury, its a lot of fun if you dont get stuck out in an exceptionally low tide, as Flaherty stated.
