hi josh. I have a jp free ride 143.Planes up fast, cruises upwind, very good reaching speed.Only one draw back for me,in chop gets alittle bouncy in jibes as well as in straight line.I am 160 lb.and sail it with 8.5 sailworks retro.all in all love the board.

I have a 2004 Bic Techno2 that fits those dimensions.
I am big - 245 and 64. I usually sail it with an 8.4 or a 6.6. I can still uphaul it if I have to.
It has been a fun board. Very durable. Easy to ride. Good learner board. But, it is bouncy in windy conditions w/ chop - and does only ok in lighter wind. It DOES do well when there is a moderate 18mph wind. It has helped me advance, but now I prefer either a smaller board for windy conditions or a larger one for light to moderate conditions.
