| I was wondering if anyone has sailed from West Oakland around the container port/old army base? Are the summer westerlies there any better there than in Alameda? Oakland recently revamped some shoreland parkland there that may make for a good launch. |

| Have u been to San Leandro Marina it always blows better than ala,and thay have a ramp now.i have had about 7 5.0 days in the last month or so not bad.Take marina exit west make the 1st right once u getin to the marina follow it to a grass riging area on the right.Oakland airport wind report is on iwindsurf or call 5106355850 for oakland tower wind talker.cu on the water.
