Can anyone help with low-cost board shipping. Amtrak discontinued shipping totally and Greyhound refuses to ship boards as they don’t fit in the cargo area.
FedEx, UPS and truck carriers are $350 plus. Thanks.

You can try shipping it via airlines freight. You have to drop it off at your airport and the customer has to pick it up at their airport. I recently had a quote of $150 from west coast to mid-west.

Thanks for air-shipping tip. I used to ship United Cargo before but they discontinued (Covid?). I’ll try other airlines.

Covid changed everything. Delta only ships if you have Commercial Shipping Account with IRS tax ID etc, etc

I have not tried, but I think I could find a business with a commercial shipping account which is willing (for a negotied fee) to allow a windsurfer the use of their shipping account. I live in a county which has an airport and a population of about 150,000-200,000. That might make personal relationships with customers both easier & more important to businesses.
