untill the right wing media discloses to its i stupid as rock followers to explain why the idiot Page (you have to admit Page is as stupid as a rock, like you) but isn't it interesting the right wing media does not even tell its lemmings like you and you can not explain that Carter Page had at least one FISA warrant approved about him was it 2013-2014 years before.
again he was under the radar of being a russian asset and was warned by the FBI back then and he continued to work with the russians.
well that is certain not someone you want in a political campaign, and he did again fly to meet with his russian KGB handlers and lie about it. He lied to the US and said he did not meet with the KGB agent when he did. The guy should be in jail.
note the FISA warrant in question was after the trump people had fired/resigned Page from their team, he was no longer involved in the trump people.

the FBI and Page
Quote: | Other than the contact with Halper, which Page described as inconsequential, the FBI’s surveillance of Page came after he left the campaign in late September.
Page had traveled to Moscow July 7-8 and made a speech criticizing U.S. policy toward Russia that echoed Russian President Vladimir Putin’s views. He emailed the Trump campaign about his insights from the trip and met with Russian officials, including one from the Russian energy company Rosneft.
“Page said that, during his time in Moscow, he met with friends and associates he knew from when he lived in Russia, including Andrey Baranov, a former Gazprom employee who had become the head of investor relations at Rosneft, a Russian energy company,” the Mueller report said. “Page stated that he and Baranov talked about ‘immaterial non-public’ information. Page believed he and Baranov discussed Rosneft president Igor Sechin, and he thought Baranov might have mentioned the possibility of a sale of a stake in Rosneft in passing.”
Meanwhile, the FBI learned of reports being written by former British intelligence officer Christopher Steele, then working under contract with a research firm on behalf of the Clinton campaign and the DNC. Steele had been an FBI source, and the agency found him to be credible. One of his reports, dated July 19, alleged various meetings between Page and Russian officials, including that Page met with Igor Diveykin, Putin’s deputy chief for internal policy, for a discussion of “kompromat,” or damaging material, on Clinton that might be given to the Trump campaign.
Such a meeting was not confirmed by the Mueller report. It noted that “Page’s activities in Russia—as described in his emails with the campaign—were not fully explained.”
Page had already come to the attention of the FBI before he joined the Trump campaign because of his interactions with Russian intelligence officers. In 2015, three of the people whom Page interacted with were charged with conspiracy to act as an unregistered agent of a foreign government, with the interactions with Page forming a key part of the complaint. One of the men pleaded guilty and was sentenced to 30 months in prison; the other two no longer lived in the United States and have not been arrested.
On Sept. 26, 2016, Page announced he had resigned from the Trump campaign. |

Does ANYONE think the U.S, doesn't do everything possible to influence other nations' elections, beginning in about 1776? It's all about opportunities more than ethics. |

Why not just a citizens united for all nations to be involved with unlimited spending in our election.
Why not legalize all forms of bribes too? _________________ when good people stay silent the right wing are the only ones heard. |

Russia’s Election Hackers Are Back—and Targeting George Soros

Quote: | The Russian intelligence agency behind 2016’s election attacks is training its sights on billionaire financier George Soros, The Daily Beast has learned. The move comes hot on the heels of a surge in U.S.-focused hacking by Russia’s Main Intelligence Directorate with similarities to 2016 in targeting and methodology.
Laura Silber, chief communications officer for Soros’ Open Society Foundations, confirmed the hack attempt, but couldn’t provide additional details over the weekend. “We were aware of an attack,” Silber told the Daily Beast.
Last month Microsoft quietly seized a new batch of 10 deceptive domain names the company says were set up by the hackers known as Fancy Bear, the group intelligence officials and independent analysts have long attributed to Russia’s Main Intelligence Directorate, the GRU. Those web addresses imitate genuine domains used for Microsoft services like Sharepoint, an unmistakable sign that they were intended for use in phishing attacks, in which a victim is tricked into typing their password into a fake login page. |

Bernie, you (of all people!) needed to stay out of the Clinton/Gabbard spat

I can’t let this pass without comment.
Bernie Sanders

@BernieSanders
Tulsi Gabbard has put her life on the line to defend this country. People can disagree on issues, but it is outrageous for anyone to suggest that Tulsi is a foreign asset.

Page 23 of Volume I of the Mueller Report obviously refers to what Robert Mueller and his team seems to have identified as “internal IRA documents” where the Russian-backed Internet Research Agency specifically stated that they were helping Bernie Sanders as well as Donald Trump.
Senator Sanders, with all due respect, was used as an unwitting foreign asset by the Russians in the attack on Hillary Clinton and the United States in 2016 presidential campaign.
And Sanders is probably still in denial about that.
Bernie needed to stay out of this spat...because to the extent that what (very) little support that Gabbard has now is due to her support of his nomination in 2016, she has already supported a unwitting “foreign asset.”
Nor is Ms. Gabbard disavowing social media support that she has been getting from Russian-backed bots and trolls. |

Trump is Putin's stooge:
President Donald Trump's urging of Ukraine's President to investigate political rivals coincided with Russian President Vladimir Putin and Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban pushing a disparaging view of the country to Trump, The Washington Post reported on Monday.
Citing current and former US officials, the Post reported that Putin and Orban did not explicitly name Ukraine as a potential source of dirt on former Vice President Joe Biden or mentioned the country's potential role in the 2016 US presidential election. However, the two leaders characterized Ukraine as corrupt and reinforced Trump's views of the country.
George Kent, the deputy assistant secretary of state for European and Eurasian affairs, described Putin and Orban's influence during closed-door testimony to House investigators last week, US officials told the Post. Kent pointed to their efforts as a factor in turning Trump against Ukraine in the months leading up to his controversial call with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky that prompted a whistleblower complaint and impeachment inquiry, the Post reported.
