I get my board (80 cm X 245 cm), a 9.0 and 7.2 sail, 490 and 460 mast, two booms, an assembled AFS 95 cm foil, and all my gear into a VW Passat with the rear seats down! Have to also incline the front passenger seat back. That gear covers wind from 8-25+ mph.

You know it's pretty easy to shrink your pics before posting them.
Now the format is screwed up for this page, I was going to post a pic but not now.

Nice work, but I think there's wasted space (and wasted sailor time).
I stagger my boards forward and back so that I can leave the fins on (the ones sticking further back have no clearance problem, and these days the "forward" ones I have the tails sticking slightly outward.) When I arrive at sailing venue I just pull the board out and it's ready to go (assuming I'm happy with the fin for the conditions). I keep my booms against the right side wall. No floor..most of my sails sit above the boards, and a couple are inside of my high wind board (it's smallest)...since I know that board will be out of the van if I'm using those sails it isn't as if I'm cut off from them.
Have never felt the need for adding a floor. I like walking forward and back through the van.
(Who knows how to post a photo on this page that will show? No matter how much I shrink mine they justify to the right and warp the page.)

Do you really need a van for 2 boards and 6 sails?
We carry 8 boards, 12 sails, 5 booms, and a lotta masts.
But most is 10+ year old gear, mine.

You have a van so you can live in it and be a Windsurfer. Don't need anything but a windy day.

RTZ has used "Uni-Strut" strut channel like I did. It's unbelievably strong; I used the 1-5/8" X 1-5/8" hot-dip galvanized, and I think each arm would hold 200lbs. if needed. Also infinitely adjustable. I set the verticals for the boom side at the wheelbase of our mountain bikes so we can bring those along if needed. This is a 2017 Ford Transit, medium roof. The flag makes it private for wetsuit changes. My 11'9" SUP on top, followed by my wife's 10'6", then 4 windsurf boards.
