Ok, finally made peace with the H2 wing yesterday in east winds at Stevenson. 3.7 sail with wind only on the Oregon side. I was able to get to the wind and stay upwind on the H2 where the H4 would have led to a walk of shame.
As far as jibing goes it's like Tony said in Foil-Academy: you've got to keep to board turning and complete the radius. That prevents to over foiling issue.
Previously, I don't think I was a good enough rider to know how to use the H2.
Powered up west wind in 3.2 to 4.2 would be H4. Use the H2 for the rest.
Have the H5 in the truck now to experiment with. |
