| Depends a lot on where in Sweden youre going. West coast (Skagerak between Goteberg and Oslo) is fairly windy as is the straits between southern tip and Denmark (in the Malmo area). The east coast (Baltic) is fairly light winds in the summer time but very beautiful especially in Stockholm area. In general the climate for the southern half of the country is comparable to the US - New England area - with less humidity in the summer. The north is nice in summer cuz you can sail 24 hours a day, sun never goes down. It think there is wave sailing on the beaches in Denmark but not sure. The scenery lives up to its reputation. |
