If by "minorities", you mean rich, white, Jesus-school kids, then we agree again!!!

Oh the HARMONY!!! Mat-ty is gonna break into song in....3...2...1....

Just what I thought. Lazy ass union slug, happy with the status quo as long as you get your 16 weeks off a year, early retirement , and almost impossible to fire.... Public schools are awesome..

See!!! I was right! I got Mat-ty to break into his poor little snowflake song: "public schools bad! Wah! Wah! Unions bad! Waaaaaahhhhh! Why won't everyone suck corporate cock like me???? Waaaahhhhh!"

Just like the poor woman the left tore to shreds a few years back in D.C.
Asian American , I forget her name.

How dare she suggest Charter schools are a better option for some. But the left and the union goons will always do what they do best, TEAR DOWN ANYONE WHO SUGGEST THE SYSTEM IS BROKEN and failing our children miserably.

Of course 90% percent of her critics kids go to private schools..

idiot, she has no data from her weird science project to show overwhelming or significant partial success in all the years the junk science experiment has been going on called charter schools. Just some anecdotal faith we are to believe her with no experience...

The name you were searching for, in your uninformed worship of ideology instead of facts, is Michelle Rhee. Married to Kevin Johnson, ex-Mayor of Sacramento. I attended a talk by the two of them at the Commonwealth Club. They have a good grasp of talking points, and stayed on script—no matter the questions. They both seem to mean well, although politically ambitious, perhaps to a fault. But I followed up with a letter to Rhee, asking her a number of questins. She didn’t bother to respond.

This is my 15th year volunteering in public schools, in Oakland, San Leandro and Berkeley. School is both much harder and better taught than when we were kids. They have smarter ways of teaching math under Common Core, better approaches to teaching spelling, and writing programs that teach thesis statements in second grade, not high school. There has been a ton of research completed on how most kids learn to read, and how to teach them when theyare struggling. During that time I’ve only encountered one teacher that I thought shouldn’t be teaching.

I’ve also read a substantial amount of literature on educational reform, most notably by Diane Ravitch—a Republican who was #2 in the Bush Administration education. She has actually looked at the data—something I have seen no evidence of from Michelle Rhee. I was an early supporter of No Child Left Behind, and as a volunteer, my commitment was and is to kids, not teachers. My conclusion is that charter schools play a role, but overall they perform no better, and indeed slightly worse, than public schools. In a few cases they have looked very successful—until you found out that dministrators were cooking the books. (E.g. American Indian Model schools. https://www.eastbaytimes.com/2017/03/30/former-oakland-charter-schools-director-charged-with-grant-application-fraud-money-laundering-scheme/)

In some cases, charter schools are populated by bright kids who are bored and act out in public schools, and they do quite well. But apart from that, they lag behind comparable public schools, despite efforts to cherry-pick students that are not disruptive. But I know you are immune to facts and don’t understand statistics, so you can always post a diversion or hurl some slurs.

By the way, Rhee was basically run out of Washington D.C on a rail by black mothers. You, on the other hand, know virtually nothing about schools that qualifies you to make any sensible comments.

My memory of sex with Stormy is hazy
Because golf and porn stars drive me crazy
My lawyers have issued a denial
It will all be disclosed pre-trial
This seems like a film by Scorsese

And I was called a misogynist by Wet-ty!

mat-ty, you must be forgetting about all those millions of Christians out in the homeland of America.

However, with Easter coming up, you surely get to see Charlton Heston's Moses receive the Ten Commandments to get a bit of reminder of what's right in the Christian world.

Hey, wasn't it all the righteous social Republicans leading the charge against President Clinton? I have to guess, you were one of them, and even today by your comments.

How easily you look the other way with Donald Trump in the same arena is telling. Yet, maybe the fact that Trump hasn't yet been caught cheating on his wife as the president makes it all OK, right?

He hasn't been caught because he is too busy doing what he accused Obama of too much of, playing golf.
Tired of winning yet????

trump silent as stormies lawyer challenges trump to say she is a liar.... If he does the legal damages will be huge if he goes to court. And he again can be impeached as the kenny boy Star claimed clinton should be impeached for saying he never had sexula relations.

anyway filed to go to depositions...

as we know trump fights... and he has completely retreated...

A Third Woman Is Suing To Break A Trump-Related Nondisclosure Agreement

Quote:
Jessica Denson, the former head of Hispanic outreach for President Donald Trump’s 2016 campaign, is suing his campaign organization in an attempt to nullify a nondisclosure agreement she entered into while working for Trump.

Denson, 32, began working for Trump’s campaign in August 2016 and sued for $25 million in New York state court in November 2017, claiming that her campaign managers “defamed her, harassed her and discriminated against her,” Bloomberg reports. She also said she experienced “sexual discrimination and harassment,” according to NBC News.
